Basque

A new wave of Arcadians was formed in the Basque territory of Spain by the expulsion of the Jews out of that land in the year 1492, two years before Columbus set sail for the New World of the Spanish.  At this time the Basque Spanish had been in trade with old Greenland in over 178 years with over 20 ships in operation with out paying tax to the Catholic churce or the King of Spain, claiming to be whalers around Iceland.  This secret would later bring down this trade when the English took most of the ships as Pirates by Martin Frobisher and others.
